Disc granulation method

The disc granulation method is a method of mixing and granulating powdered basic fertilizers with a disc granulator. This method was first used in industrial production, and there are still some small and medium-sized compound fertilizer factories currently using it, but it shows a disadvantage of reduction.
Principle First, store various powdered basic fertilizers in their respective hoppers, and then measure and mix them according to the proportion of the formula, and then add them to the rotating disc of the disc granulator through the powder feeding trough. At the same time, according to the grade requirements of the powdery compound fertilizer and the characteristics of the raw material fertilizer, the liquid component or an appropriate amount of who is evenly sprinkled on the material in the disc through the liquid component distributor of the disc granulator. It can meet the liquid phase required for granulation. The friction and centrifugal effect of the rotating disc and the edge of the material on the material cause the material to produce circumferential movement, so that the powder particles are kneaded and squeezed with each other, and gradually agglomerated into granules. Due to the difference in particle quality, the gravity generated It is also different from centrifugal effect, when its gravity and centrifugal effect are increased enough to overcome the friction between the particles and are thrown out of the disk. The smaller particles still remain in the disc and continue to adhere to the fine powder particles, which will also seep out from the edge of the disc when they gradually increase. The granules exuded from the disc are dried and sieved, and the granular compound fertilizer with qualified granularity is the finished granular compound fertilizer after cooling. The sieved coarse particles are crushed and then sieved, and the sieved fine powder particles are returned to the disc granulator for re-granulation.
The inclination of the disc. Generally, it is adjusted within the range of 40°~60°, but not less than the natural angle of repose of the granulated material, so as to prevent the material from sticking to the disc and rotating together. The inclination angle of the disc granulator is generally 45°. The position of the scraper and the horizontal direction are 60°. The organizeable materials are squeezed into blocks at the scraper device, and the materials are automatically discharged from the three-quarter radius under the disk. During continuous mechanical feeding, the machine should be kept stable, and the material should be added from the upper part at 45° away from the vertical line. At the same time, the moisture of the material should be stabilized.
Advantages: The operation is intuitive, and the operating conditions can be grasped at any time. If abnormalities are found, they can be handled appropriately in time; the size of the particles is determined by the inclination rate and speed of the disc, and the inclination rate and speed of the disc are adjustable, so the disc is made The granulation process has a wide control range of particle size, strong adaptability, and high granulation rate. Generally, the granulation rate can reach 70%~90%, so the amount of returned material is less. The production process of disc granulation method Short, the structure of the disc granulator is simple. Compared with the same production scale, it has less investment than the transfer granulation and spray granulation methods, and the operation
is easier, so it is suitable for small and medium-sized compound fertilizer processing plants. .
